Q1: In what situation can I use J-anpi?
A1: Basically, you can use it everytime you want.
However, when all safety information websites provided by carriers are offline, and no information are provided by the press, companies and organizations, you can't find any information on the site. In that case, we display so on the home page.

Q2: Can I use J-anpi expept the time of disaster?
A2: Not at the time of disaster, you can also experience "J-anpi" service during the trial period with mobile carriers. Please feel free to share the experience of the service with your family, relatives, and friends.

The following is set as the available trial period of the provided disaster emergency message board by each mobile company. (J-anpi can be searched regardless of the following period.)

- 1st and 15th of every month at 00:00 - 24:00
- The New Year (1 Jan at 00:00 - 3 Jan at 24:00)
- Disaster Preparedness Week (30 Aug at 9:00 - 5 Sep at 17:00)
- Disaster Preparedness and Volunteer Week (15 Jan at 9:00 - 21 Jan at 17:00)

*Please be aware that you may not be able to use the trial service when disasters occur.

Q3: What kind of information does J-anpi have?
A3: J-anpi provides following information.

- The messages on disaster message boards provided by following companies;
  - NIPPON TELEGRAPH AND TELEPHONE EAST CORPORATION
  - NIPPON TELEGRAPH AND TELEPHONE WEST CORPORATION
  - NTT DOCOMO, INC.
  - KDDI CORPORATION
  - SoftBank Mobile Corp.

  - Google Japan,Inc. "Pperson Finder"
   *When a "Pperson Finder" has information, the link of applicable information is displayed.

- Besides, we plan to provide safety information gathered from the press, NTT East and NTT West when large-scale disasters occur.

Q4: Do I have to register for J-anpi to use the site?
A4: No. All you have to do is agree to the terms of use and prepare the Internet connection.

Q5: Can I upload my safety information or messages at J-anpi?
A5: No. You can't upload safety information directly at J-anpi.
You should use disaster message boards provided by NTT-west, NTT-east and mobile telecommunications companies, the "Person Finder" which Google offers, or safety status confirmation services provided by enterprises, organizations and the press.

Q6: Can I access J-anpi from outside Japan?
A6: Yes. You can use J-anpi as long as you can get Internet access.

A7: You can access J-anpi from PC(*1)、smartphone(*2)、cellular phone(*3).

     OS:Android Ver.3+、iOS Ver.4+

Q8: What is the difference between the smartphone site and the pc site?
A8: We adjust layout of the site including input forms and button to optimization for smartphone.

A9: You can search and view safety status information for free except Internet access charges.

Q10: Will the information registered for J-anpi be deleted?
A10: The information will be deleted automatically when the service is closed.

Q11: I found an error in data on J-anpi. How can I correct it?
A11: You can't correct data on J-anpi directly, so you have to update source of information.
